A21
A21 EXISTS TO ABOLISH INJUSTICE IN THE 21ST CENTURY.
We is a non-profit organization who believes that together, we can end human trafficking.
Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings, mainly for the purposes of forced labor and sex trafficking. As the world's fastest growing criminal industry, it affects every nation across the globe. Every 30 seconds, someone becomes a victim of modern-day slavery.
There are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in human history, with an estimated 27 million in bondage across the globe. Every year, men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad and are then exploited against their will.

Compassion
1.3 billion people live in extreme poverty today and over 400 million of them are children. Poverty affects everyone in different ways, but it is children who are hit the hardest when faced with an endless cycle that crushes any shred of hope for a better tomorrow.
Compassion is a child sponsorship organisation who is committed to the spiritual, economic, social and physical development of children living in extreme poverty in 26 countries, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. They have over 60 years’ experience of working with some of the poorest communities in the world. Today, over 1.7 million children are received life-transforming care through Compassion’s church-based programmes.
Compassion believes connecting one child with one sponsor is the most strategic way to end childhood poverty. Through monthly donations, prayer and letter writing, sponsors invest in the lives of children living in extreme poverty. Children attend church-based child development centres where they receive life-changing opportunities that would otherwise be out of their reach. Every sponsor child has the opportunity to develop their God-given potential and be released from the poverty that has trapped their families for generations.
Vision Rescue
Vision Rescue is a non-profit, registered charity involved in feeding, providing non formal education, medical help, skill training and other kinds of help to addicted and abused street children.
Biju Thampy founded the ministry in 2004 after seeing the enormous need and feeling compelled to step in and make a difference even if it was only for one child.
Vision Rescue now run four buses in Mumbai where children are given food and a non-formal education with the aim of graduating into vocational training, as well a medical van and a mobile dental unit. Their work has expanded out beyond helping the street children to include working with Mumbai’s prostitutes, drug addicts and other vulnerable groups in the city. Another project from Vision Rescue is the Dream Centre, a shelter and transition home for trafficked girls.
